Was a great first “arc” really vamped things up!

Oh, Boruto, I hope you know what it means to want the path of certain shinobi! Momoshiki Arc's ConclusionThe Momoshiki arc ends with a fabulous conclusion! I got the warm fuzzy feelings when Naruto and Boruto teamed up at the end of this arc on pages 66-76。 It was powerful moment especially with the flashbacks。 This scene was beautifully done in the anime! Naruto and Boruto"Even if times change。。。the soul of a shinobi remains the same。 You remind me of Naruto。。。Boruto" -Sasuke。 Page 97 was such Oh, Boruto, I hope you know what it means to want the path of certain shinobi! Naruto and Boruto"Even if times change。。。the soul of a shinobi remains the same。 You remind me of Naruto。。。Boruto" -Sasuke。 Page 97 was such a great picture。 Yes, there are similarities between the two, but I see more of Sasuke in Boruto。 This similarity strengthens on pages 140 and 149-150。 This is why it makes sense that Sasuke is Boruto's teacher。 Ending Momoshiki Monologue"FATE? I won't remain ordinary? Bring it on。 Whether fate or a curse。。。go ahead and try interfering。。。with my shinobi way! I never planned to be ordinary, anyway。 After all。。。I'm。。。a ninja。 I said it before, but。。。this isn't a tale about a boy who aims to become hokage。 That was my Dad's story。 This is。。。none other。。。than MY Story!" -BorutoOooh, Boruto, hang on tight! As we know in the first volume things go south! That means Boruto is definitely going to get polish by suffering over the next several volumes until we catch up with the events in the first volume。 Sasuke and NarutoSasuke: "You don't look so good。"Naruto: "。。。Neither do you。"Sasuke: [Glare]Naurto: "Don't compare us。" [Holds out hand] "I'M still able to stand on my own。'[Grips Naruto's hand]Naruto: "How long are you planning on acting like we're still rivals?" [Naruto gets up]Sasuke: "At least until。。。I've beaten you soundly。" Naruto: "。。。" [Smirk] "In that case。。。wouldn't today count toward that?" I'm actually happy where this friendship/brotherly relationship ended up。 This is what I want Bakugo's and Deku's relationship to end up as。 I would even take how Naruto's and Kurama's relationship ended up。 Verdict: Despite the lower energy end to this volume, you know at some point the brakes are going to come off and we are going to speed our way to the future that we see in volume 1。 To quote the Doctor, "We need a new destination, because I don't want to go。" I agree with you Doctor 100%! 。。。more

We are seeing a lot of battles in this volume。 I am sure that boruto will only progress in the next volume, and we got to see more of team 7 in action! I thought that the enemies were a bit god-ly, or too sovereign for boruto at his state, but I only said that to remember that boruto is a series continued after naruto, and that naruto is boruto's dad。 So I thought it's cool we'd see such an end-game boss in the start of the story。 Naruto is incredibly powerful, along with Sasuke, but I think the We are seeing a lot of battles in this volume。 I am sure that boruto will only progress in the next volume, and we got to see more of team 7 in action! Great bookI liked when Momoshiki gave Boruto the curse mark, I can’t wait to learn what happens in the next book! I really like the artwork, very clean and crisp。 I recommend this book to my friends! We talk about Boruto all the time。I am a big fan of Naruto and Boruto。

This book was one of my favorite boruto manga so far! there were so may events that kept me reading, and it was great in general。 the fight against momoshiki was so intense with great finish。

Another good volume, the battle with Momoshiki continues and its time for Boruto to stand up and he teams up with his dad and they produce a massive Rasengan and so its Boruto vs Momoshiki and he does defeat him with Rasengan and there is a great moment where he stands up and it looks like as if its time for the next generation to stand up but then as time pauses, Momoshiki comes in from behind and tells him a prophecy with his blue eyes and a mark on his hand, a future or a massive battle to co Another good volume, the battle with Momoshiki continues and its time for Boruto to stand up and he teams up with his dad and they produce a massive Rasengan and so its Boruto vs Momoshiki and he does defeat him with Rasengan and there is a great moment where he stands up and it looks like as if its time for the next generation to stand up but then as time pauses, Momoshiki comes in from behind and tells him a prophecy with his blue eyes and a mark on his hand, a future or a massive battle to come。 Then Boruto goes on to being a decent kid and on missions, also his next mission: bodyguard of Fire country's Daimyo's son - Tentou and he is a snotty rich kid。 This volume was good, as we finally have Boruto growing up to something and becoming a true ninja hero! But there are also set up for exciting things to come ahead for sure! And the art is just so clean, simple and gorgeous to look at! 。。。more

8/10My enjoyment is steadily going up。 Certain things make me raise my eyebrows like Boruto already being good at the rasengan, but I figure since we’ve ALREADY seen a young character struggling to master it, seeing that again wouldn’t be as fun。 The things I need most are:The kid side characters to become more interesting。 A compelling longer arc。

The villian, momoshiki who captured naruto was defeated。 Thought he does not seem to be gone。I am very glad Boruto told Sasuke about the fact momoshiki appeared again after his apparent defeat。 In many stories the kid would just keep it a secret till it became relivent to the plot。Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki where given a mission to apprehend robbers。 Boruto has been given a new solo mission to be a body gaurd for the fire daimyo's son, Who is obnoxious。 It kinda remines me of a filler episode fr The villian, momoshiki who captured naruto was defeated。 Thought he does not seem to be gone。I am very glad Boruto told Sasuke about the fact momoshiki appeared again after his apparent defeat。 In many stories the kid would just keep it a secret till it became relivent to the plot。Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki where given a mission to apprehend robbers。 Boruto has been given a new solo mission to be a body gaurd for the fire daimyo's son, Who is obnoxious。 It kinda remines me of a filler episode from the origional naruto when naruto had to be a body gaurd for a rich and obnoxious kid。 。。。more

The conflicts between Naruto and Boruto continue to be the driving force of this series, and hopefully that can give the series strong enough legs to walk on until we can get more chances to learn about the supporting cast。

I definitely enjoyed this one more than previous volumes, although a lot of it is just action scenes, so it’s pretty quick to get through。The first three chapters wrap up the arc from the movie, with an interesting addition that will most likely drive the rest of the story。 We get a lovely collage of the most epic times when Naruto used his rasengan, and a hint of the never ending Naruto-Sasuke rivalry。 Of course this is Boruto’s cue to remind us that this is his story, not his dad’s story。 I gu I definitely enjoyed this one more than previous volumes, although a lot of it is just action scenes, so it’s pretty quick to get through。The first three chapters wrap up the arc from the movie, with an interesting addition that will most likely drive the rest of the story。 We get a lovely collage of the most epic times when Naruto used his rasengan, and a hint of the never ending Naruto-Sasuke rivalry。 Of course this is Boruto’s cue to remind us that this is his story, not his dad’s story。 I guess this is his way of reminding us that we may have been spoiled with plenty of nostalgia and excitement at seeing our favourite characters all grown up, but now it’s time for Boruto’s story, so don’t get used to it。The final chapter starts a new story arc with Boruto’s next mission as an escort for the Daimyo’s son, Tento。 I wonder how they’ll get along。。。 。。。more

First of all。 Who the fuck approved that cover。 Sarada is a goddamn child。 I seriously want to fight someone。 Do the people drawing them realize she's 12? What the actual fuck is going on in their heads? To be honest I didn't expect to like Boruto as much as I do。 After so many years of Naruto I had the prejudiced impression that it was just more of the same。 But after reading the first three volumes I see enough new aspects and promising hints of future development that it got me hooked。This volume especially laid a lot of groundwork for the series as a whole, while also managing to be really enjoyable。 I honestly didn't expect such a cool fight in the first few chapters and I've got to see the To be honest I didn't expect to like Boruto as much as I do。 After so many years of Naruto I had the prejudiced impression that it was just more of the same。 But after reading the first three volumes I see enough new aspects and promising hints of future development that it got me hooked。This volume especially laid a lot of groundwork for the series as a whole, while also managing to be really enjoyable。 I honestly didn't expect such a cool fight in the first few chapters and I've got to see the anima adaptation of it now 😅I'm going to keep reading this one。 If I'll stick with it till the end? I think the fighting scenes here is my fave in the manga so far。 This just gives me the original Naruto feels。 I’m also pleased that Boruto here has redeemed his past actions before and would say that I’m now liking him more even if he is really childish。

It frustrates me that the artist (who is not Kishimoto for this series) keeps sexualizing Sarada, who is 12 YEARS OLD in the series so far。 So glad that the children are allowed to stay children in the Anime。
